This policy governs the cancellation of on-site ceiling repair services booked through www.ceilingrepairly.com, operated by M-T-D Innenausbau GmbH (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By submitting a service booking deposit, you enter into a binding service agreement subject to the terms outlined below.
- Service Workflow & Booking Deposits
Our service model operates through online appointment scheduling:
Deposit Payment: Customers submit an initial online booking deposit via our website to reserve an appointment slot.
Consultation & Quotation: Following deposit submission, our team contacts you via our inquiry form or direct communication to assess your specific room dimensions, structural damage, and project requirements, providing a final transparent quotation for the complete on-site installation.
On-Site Execution: Work is carried out at your designated European premises on the scheduled date agreed upon during our consultation.
- Cancellation Terms & Notice Period
You are entitled to cancel or reschedule your service appointment subject to the following timeframes:
Cancellation Outside 48 Hours: If you cancel your scheduled on-site service appointment at least 48 hours prior to the agreed arrival time, your booking deposit will be refunded in full.
Late Cancellation Within 48 Hours: If you cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before the scheduled on-site visit, or if our technicians arrive at the location and are unable to access the property to perform the service due to customer absence, the initial booking deposit is retained to cover allocated labor and logistical reservation costs.
- Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU Right of Cancellation)
In accordance with European consumer protection directives and German statutory law (§ 356g BGB), consumers booking services online generally possess a 14-day right of withdrawal.
By submitting your deposit and requesting our specialized on-site assessment and scheduling, you expressly request that we commence performance of our reservation and planning services prior to the expiration of the withdrawal period.
If the on-site service is fully performed, or if preliminary tailoring and scheduling work has been completed with your explicit consent, your statutory right of withdrawal for the executed portion of the service expires pursuant to statutory regulations.
- Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed promptly using the original method of payment.
Funds typically appear in your account within 5 to 10 days, depending on your financial institution’s processing timeline.
